SNA Art Book Prize 2024

The 24th SNA Art Book Prize was awarded to Klaus Herding for his monograph and catalogue raisonné of Pierre Puget (1620–1694), published by Editions Faton. This magnificent work, dedicated to the great 17th-century French sculptor and comprising four bound volumes, has become the definitive reference on the artist.

The prize was presented by Jean-Gabriel Peyre, President of the SNA Cultural Commission, on November 14, 2024, in the Salon des Maréchaux at the Ministry of Culture, in the presence of the author's daughter, Maruta Herding, and his publisher, Geneviève Bresc, as well as Jeanne Faton (Editions Faton), who successfully completed the author's monumental project.
