Bylaws

The statutes form the governing framework of the Syndicat des Négociants en Art. They define its purpose, organisation and operating principles, as well as the conditions of membership and the rights and obligations of its members.

They also set out the SNA’s core commitments: representing and defending the interests of the profession, fostering cohesion among its members, keeping them informed, and supporting the development of the art market, both in France and internationally.

Their filing is governed by the legal framework applicable to professional trade unions in France. In accordance with Article R. 2131-1 of the French Labour Code, the statutes, together with the names of those responsible for the administration or management of the organisation, must be filed with the town hall of the municipality in which the union is established.

The SNA’s governance is structured around the General Meeting, the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee, whose respective roles and responsibilities are defined in the statutes.

The statutes currently in force were approved by the Extraordinary General Meeting on 25 July 2024.
