MAISON RAPIN
Philippe Rapin creates its "Maison"! The designer/exhibitor gathers all its activities under the label Maison Rapin: two galleries in Paris, Quai Voltaire and Rue de Beaune and Kam Tin Furniture. All the universe and the artistic tastes of an eclectic Art dealer.
Philippe Rapin created his first gallery in 1978, specializing in ceramics. In the 80s, he moved to the Louvre des Antiquaires then rue du Bac in Paris, before settling in Quai Voltaire for many years.
In the early 2000s, he created his gallery in Brussels, 146 Avenue Louise, based on the theme of Italian design. Then, he went to London in 2008 where he opened a gallery in Pimlico Road while creating Kam Tin, the mark of the "meubles bijoux".
In 2012, he re-opens a gallery in Paris on the Quai Voltaire.
In 2013, he develops its activity in Asia by opening a gallery in Hong Kong and the jewel-furniture brand Kam Tin.
In 2018 he opens a second gallery in Paris on the Rue de Beaune.
Today,he focuses his two Parisian galleries and Kam Tin Furniture under one label, Maison Rapin.
In 2019, Alice Kargar and Virgile Dumont, young members of the gallery, associate with Philippe Rapin.
In 2022, Maison Rapin finally settles on 7 Quai de Conti in Paris.
