CINOA stands for International Confederation of Art Dealers. Founded in 1935, it is the world's leading representative of the international art, antiques, and antiquities market. CINOA is a confederation of associations. Its members include auction houses and galleries representing 20 countries and more than 5,000 of the world's most important dealers, covering a wide range of specialties from antiques to contemporary art.
CINOA's objective is to protect, preserve, and promote art and antiques by encouraging their international circulation, both for trade and for private and public collectors. CINOA actively addresses major issues affecting the sector, while striving to promote high professional standards, notably through the global adoption of the CINOA Code of Ethics.
No other professional organization in the international art and antiques market offers such broad reach or such direct access to leading professionals in the field worldwide.
Affiliate members often display the CINOA logo to demonstrate their commitment to the CINOA Charter and ethical principles.
CINOA proactively addresses its members' concerns and provides them with international support. Members benefit from an international network of experts and coordinated initiatives. CINOA develops activities that complement those of its member associations.
