AU VIEUX PARIS

silverware from the Renaissance to the Empire; selection of French and European silverware; gold boxes; objects of virtue; watches and antique jewelry

Since 1846, the gallery Au Vieux Paris is specialized in silverware from the Renaissance to the Empire Period. A wide selection of French and European silverware, gold boxes, objects of vertue, timepieces and antique jewellery are on offer. We have been exhibiting at the Paris Biennale since the 1960s. Present from the beginning at 4, rue de la Paix, in the heart of the jewellers and antique dealers district of Paris. The greatest jewellers have gradually settled on this central artery, as well as on the nearby Place Vendôme. Today the gallery Au Vieux Paris decides to renew the tradition of the great "merchants-merciers" of the eighteenth century, its illustrious predecessors. Parallel to its vocation as an antique dealer, the gallery diversified into the reproduction of ancient objects and the creation of contemporary works in the specialties of jewellery and goldsmith. This company has led an original partnership with the best artisans of the trade. Different designers and designers intervene in this chain of creations in order to bring the collections alive and complete the catalog. This partnership also brings together the best skills to carry out repairs and restorations
